So I noticed yesterday that there was a Oprah special on the Hurricane, when I got home I watched. Mind you, I have watched all the news coverage on this stuff and Oprah was by far the worst. It was raw as it could be for ABC which was more raw then CNN.

They spoke of maroding thugs in the Superdome, which was pitch black inside the whole time for 10s of 1000 of people, shooting and fighting stepping on children in the midst of it all. The thugs were raping little children that tried to go to the bathroom. There was piss and crap everywhere they said, it was dark so the camera didn’t get it but Oprah said that the first reaction on just walking in was to vomit.

Doctor Oz (the guy who worked on Clinton’s Op) went there and said he has seen a lot of the death but not like this. He showed a dude dead in the street, just chillin’ oozing blood. Also a lady blooted on the sholder of the highway. A Dole orange juice laying where she dropped it as the life left her body. She looked pregnant because of the blooting. It was said. He also was talking to a guy who was in his final second and was not responding, he already looked dead. Lastly he said that if a person gets to a point they can’t get better they have been putting them in the “morgue” (a freezer truck) to die in “peace”

So I saw on the news Kanye’s comments about Bush, the government, and the media. Let me say WOW. He spoke his mind like very few people do and I applaud him for that. Do I agree with him…kinda I think no one even Kanye cares about homeless and poor cause if he did would he have concert tixs for $60. Poor people love Kanye. Would I drive past all the poor people I see in Dallas. We all have everything else on the brain except helping the poor.

Bush does deep down care about all people but big business is probably most on his mind.

Kanye is right in some respects, I saw great news pieces and bad news pieces but we should not be so quick to put absolutes on things. Also we need to stop the “everyone is racist.” It’s a 40 witch hunt. Everyone is sick of it. STOP IT Jesse Jackson, stop it Al Sharpton. MLK is dead (get over, you can’t blame white america for Jame Earl Ray), civil rights is over. There is still racist, but most people are trying to learn, tolorate, and entermingle with all races. Trust in white people is hard if you best friend was killed by one and maybe by a conspiricy but we have to treat all fairly and not cry racism if a white waiter forgets to only bring your drink

So a couple of hours ago I some how got…oh I was looking for something to do for a double date I have in a couple of hours. That is when I got to the sixth floor mueseum site, that took me to a Texas history site which took me to Boonie and Clyde, where I noticed they are both (including the surrounding fam) are buried here in dallas. Boonie just above Love field and Clyde off of Ft. Worth Ave. in the industrial part of town near the Main Post Office.

After looking for over an hour I noticed something…you need to treat your kids right and love you family, cause no one is going to tell your awesome story. There were many people on find a grave. Do you know who Greer Garson is? Well she was an actress she played Maddam Curee and won an Oscar for another movie. What about Arthur Demp? HE FOUNDED SEATTLE!!! The man founded Seattle and you probably had know idea what controbution he has made to America, fish, Cobain, Starbucks, this man founded Seattle. We search for fame and fortune and all this crap to die and have some guy who has nothing to do at 5:30 in the morning learn about you.

I hope these people were good to there kid cause a life dies even if it was on the silver scree or on wax. Name me 15 stars of the 1920′s. Name the Pulizter prize winner from last year. I bet you can’t even do that. In sixty years will anyone give to squirts about Bruce Willis, Hally Berry, or even the great Al Pacino (maybe Pacino). Have you been to a library lately it echos, “What have you done with your life,” and “Don’t waste your time writing books they may end up never being checked out” The vast amounts of books just availbible at the Dallas Library is amazing and that is just a small dose of what is out there and we can name how many authors besides the pop culture ones. I bet you if I was to die tonight, murdered by a serial killer toddler most people would not know my name 1 yr later and even more so ever read this blog that I keep.

Right now I’m listening to Eric Clapton on PBS, he’s doing songs sessions of Rober Johnson. It is mesmerizing how Eric and definately Johnson play. I don’t like new blues or “white blues” but this is an adaptation of the original stuff. I had alway seen the picture of this man and heard people speak of a guitarist who eledgedly sold his soul to play guitar, but never his music. It is great.

So Christian Right and politicians who want to win elections say,

“We should get back to what the founding fathers wanted, and the way they relied on God for forming this country.”

You meant the founding fathers who gave freedom to every white man and left every woman and slave under a now American grip.

• Ben Franklin, one of our greatest founding fathers, on the 100 dollar bill, never spent to much time with his wife. Franklin spent decades in France “working for the the US government” while his wife was dying. He was getting down with the frog women. When his wife died he didn’t even come back. Let freedom ring indeed.

I would think these extreme right people would want be the opposite of this…but wait this is what they want, to screw the less fortunate, care for only their beliefs, and at the same tooting freedom.

I watched Penn and Teller’s show about censorship for the first time this week. I was very intreeged about the way people for see this country from there Christian or personal views. I being a Christian myself not the best or the example

I am pissed when I see people trying to pass law to get TV and Radio limited. This country was founded on individualism not God

The Christian God that “America” claims to believe in. Our founding fathers where Masons, which from what I know is not really too Christian, just believing in a similar God.

What if us Christians where the minority and pornagraphers where the majority and they passed I law that the bible must not have any mention of the fornication. Or something like that. You would not like that freedom taken away from you. I do not curse

to say I don’t use four letter word or the common tv curse words, I say piss and things like that, some consider that cursing. To each his own.

but if comedy clubs wouldn’t let me up unless I got real dirty, that would not be fair. So why should I impose my beliefs over others. God gives people free will why don’t we as “Christians”. We can help others come to knowledge of Christ and “cleaning up their life” but until then I will not limit anyone’s expression cause if someone did that to me then I’d be pissed.

I understand the parents and their wanting to clean up the air ways. But that is what parental rating, v-chip, raising kids is all about. I know there are parents that are against alot of TV stuff but have enough drama, sex and violence they have in their own homes that TV issues seem tame to there kids. Raise your kids and be a good example and shield their young impressionable minds, but leave the rest of society to express themselves. You guys have the hardest jobs in history but…lay off it, talk to your kids about how cool Howard Stern is

by the way I don’t like Stern but I respect him professionally and his willingness to be “himself”.

and how he ogles at young girls, is divorced, and probably is deep down inside lonely. Or tell them that these people are playing character not who they really are. I don’t know I’ll shut up now bye.
